Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Place the ham, cut side down, into a roasting pan.
- Cut the skin off the pineapple with a sharp knife and cut out any brown spots of skin left behind. Slice the pineapple into 1/2-inch slices and cut the cores out of the slices. Pin the slices onto the ham with toothpicks.
- Bake ham in the preheated oven until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the ham reads 140 degrees F (60 degrees C), 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- While the ham is baking, mix the pineapple juice and brown sugar in a microwave-safe ceramic or glass bowl and microwave on medium power until the glaze is boiling and slightly thickened. Work carefully because the glaze will be sticky and very hot.
- Pour about half the glaze evenly over the ham and pineapple about 1 hour before the end of baking; pour the rest over the ham about 30 minutes before the end of baking.

HAM.... HAM IN A CHERRY, COLA AND PINEAPPLE GLAZE
I was thinking of a different way of cooking a ham while at work, you know no peak! So I looked in the frig and cupboard to see what I could come up with as far as a glaze that could be used in a crock pot. I cooked it on a warm temperature for 4-5 hours to release all the water in the ham. Then added the glaze.

Steps:
- Wash the ham well under cold water to remove all excess salt.
- In a crock pot, put cut side of ham face down. Insert all the cloves into the ham.
- Cut the cherries and pineapple in half and insert a tooth pick to keep the cherries and pineapple in place on the ham. Turn on warm for 4 hours. This will release the water in the ham. After 4 hours drain the water and discard.
- In a medium bowl add cherry juice, cola, mustard, apple juice, brown sugar and Jalepeno ground pepper. Mix well and put into frig to chill. Pour the sauce over the ham, spread around with a spoon or brush. Then turn temp to low for 4 hours.
- NOTE: My crock pot is very hot, some of you might need to turn it up to high to maintain the temperature Baste every 30-45 minutes. Serve hot.

Steps:
- Melt butter in a saucepan. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, ground cloves and pineapple juice and let simmer not even 5 minutes, just until the mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat. Stick a toothpick in the cherry and lay pineapple ring around as many as you want to make beautiful, just drizzle glaze all over the top to soak in the pineapple. Cover with foil and place in pre-heated oven. Calculate cooking time.(Your ham should have it's own instructions) It's about 15 minutes per pound, so for example; if you have a 20 pound ham, the cooking time would be 15 minutes for each pound, which would be 4 pounds per hour, which would equal 5 hours cooking time Remove foil 30 minutes before time to take out and give it 15 minutes of resting time before carving.
CHERRY PINEAPPLE GLAZED HAM
I am lucky to receive a spiral sliced ham from my boss each Christmas. This year I wanted to glas it differently, but I forgot to get ingredients at the store, so I had to use what was on hand. This recipe was born. Cook time does not include warming the ham.

- In a saucepan, stir together pineapple juice, brown sugar, Dijon mustard and ground cloves. Bring to a boil and then simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture becomes slightly syrupy (about 10 minutes). Set aside.
- Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil. Place ham in the pan. Using a sharp knife, score surface of ham with 1/4-in.-deep cuts in a diamond pattern. Arrange pineapple and cherries evenly on ham; secure with wooden toothpicks. Spoon some of the glaze over the ham.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Shield the ham loosely with aluminum foil after 1 hour to prevent too much browning, and bake for 1 – 1 ½ more hours (or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest portion registers 140°), basting every 30 minutes with additional glaze and pan juices. Let stand 15 minutes and remove toothpicks before slicing.
