Steps:

  • Drain clams, reserving 1/4 cup of the liquid.
  • Mix clams, reserved liquid and remaining ingredients until well blended; cover. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.
  • Serve with cut-up vegetable dippers or potato chips.

  • Rub a bowl with the garlic halves; discard garlic.
  • Combine clams, cream cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste, stirring until well blended.
  • Add the reserved clam liquid to reach spreading/dipping consistency, if necessary.
  • Cover; refrigerate 2 hours minimum.
